The Bachelor’s Programme in Industrial Engineering at the FHS St.Gallen develops the students’ action competence across the different specialist disciplines. The corresponding skills are defined each semester and developed continuously. The teaching is methodically process-oriented and geared towards problem-solving. It therefore improves your implementation skills. On the industrial projects, you spend five semesters working with companies from the industry, in order to improve your practical skills and your ability to integrate.

Due to its modular structure, you can complete the Bachelor’s Programme in Industrial Engineering at the FHS St.Gallen on a full-time or a part-time basis. It takes three or four years, depending on the study intensity. The course starts in autumn each year (calendar week 38). The compulsory induction days take place the week before according to a separate programme.

The requirement for exam-free admission to the Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering is a professional certificate for training in a profession related to the field of study. Depending on your educational background, we recommend you attend supporting pre-lectures and a vocational course. For candidates who do not have German as a mother tongue, proof of German mastery is also required at level C2.
