William F. Glavin Center

William F. Glavin Center for Global Management

As alluded to in the mission statement of Babson College, the training concept is based on two fundamental pillars. Firstly, the “Entrepreneurial Spirit” – i.e. lived entrepreneurship – and secondly the international / global orientation. The latter is reflected in the numerous international programs and activities as well as the composition of the student body.

At Babson, all international programs are assigned to the William F. Glavin Center for Global Management. The Center also conducts global research projects with partner schools, thus ensuring international orientation in all aspects.

The Center is divided into various “regional” institutes for Asia, Europe and Latin America.

The Europe Institute
The Europe Institute is primarily responsible for the following activities:

  • Collaboration in degree studies with partner schools
  • Carrying out academic programs (e.g. J-MCFE)
  • Expansion of Babson’s leadership role in the area of “Entrepreneurship”
  • Maintaining contacts to European partner schools
