M. Hammerer says:

"The teams have done an excellent job. Thanks to their high degree of identification with the tasks we received very valuable information. The outcome is based on a structured approach and therefore helps us to understand some aspects of our market better. The whole project was accomplished on a very professional level."

D. Augustine says:

"We truly enjoyed working with J-MCFE students on our market analysis project. They were extremely professional and their highly-analytical thinking was evidenced by the exceptional report they delivered. Market research USA

WTT-FHS collaborates with Babson College within the scope of the Market Research United States program. Internally, the program is known by the name of the Joint Management Field Experience (J-MCFE) The successful, long-term collaboration with this renowned business school offers FHS students the unique opportunity to acquire both knowledge about the North American market as well as intercultural competency.

In this program, exclusive market research projects have been carried out in the United States with a mixed team of students since 2003. A team consists of three 4th semester FHS students and three 6th or 8th semester Babson students. The teams are supported on each side of the team by qualified, experienced lecturers.

Babson College has proven to be an excellent partner in the carrying out of these international projects. This is because our American partner also has a great deal of experience with student consulting projects.

Objectives of the program

  • The program is intended to offer students the opportunity to work in an international project team in an international context
  • Offering Swiss or American companies a low-threshold offer for gaining substantiated market data in North America
  • University know-how transfer in the area of international management consulting
  • Enhancement of the international image of both schools
