U. Eller says:

"Working in "real business conditions", with the challenge to provide valuable inputs for further improvement, was managed well by the Sino-Swiss Project Team. They got into the specific industry environment rather fast, worked very excellent as one team and provided results as expected. We will take their suggestions into consideration for mid-term strategy. Some ideas will be implemented into our action list for immediate realization."

Consulting Projects

Interested in company analyses, market research studies or implementation design?

Business administration students from FHS St. Gallen will go to work for you! Plus, you’ll benefit from an outstanding cost-benefit ratio! Moreover, you will be making a valuable contribution to the practical training of future successful managers!

Our students realize over 240 practical projects per academic year for businesses and public institutions, all of which is done within the scope of regular studies. This is because we believe that students should directly apply the theoretical knowledge taught in seminars to practical cases. As a result, our students spend 20% of their studies in practical environments. With you! Doing so-called consulting projects!

Students complete consulting projects
  • either in teams or individually
  • as paid practical jobs
  • for companies and public institutions
  • in the subject areas of company analysis, market research and management design
  • with 250 – 1,000 hours of work per academic semester.

FHS lecturers serve as experts to coach the teams of students.

The students are thus given a real practical component in their Bachelor studies, while the clients receive concrete results in response to their questions.

The requirements of the project results are that they be:
  • scientifically substantiated,
  • methodically based,
  • able to be directly and practically implemented,
  • developed in a cooperative and motivated manner with the clients

The Knowledge Transfer Unit (WTT-FHS) is responsible for the marketing, acquisition, controlling of project implementation and the debriefing of all consulting projects.
