Collaboration live
Collaboration prior to and during the projectWhile still in the acquisition phase, WTT-FHS works together with the client to create an order draft as the basis for concluding the contract and as the basis for the further project. A few weeks before the start of the project (kick-off), one of the two coaches meets with the client’s project manager(s) to prepare the project start.
The delegation from Babson travels to Switzerland in January. Before the project officially begins with a kick-off with the client, the students complete a “cross-cultural training” and at the same time create a “Code of Conduct” for the team. With the kick-off at the client's facilities, the project officially begins and the teams work together in St. Gallen for the first week to come up with the letter of scope and create a first draft of the research design.
Then the American half of the team returns home. After that, in addition to e-mail, instant messaging and Internet databases, a conference call is held once every week to exchange information in a structured manner.
To complete the final report and the presentation, the FHS students travel to Boston in mid-April. The presentation takes place on the campus of Babson College.
